Thank you for treating my endometriosis.

When I first came into your office, I was in severe pain and afraid. From the moment I first called, your staff welcomed me with kindness, compassion and professionalism.

Dear Dr. Seckin,

I am writing to thank you for treating my endometriosis. Thanks to you, my life has some sense of normalcy again. When I first came into your office, I was in severe pain and afraid. From the moment I first called, your staff welcomed me with kindness, compassion and professionalism. Lucy and Kim were very helpful and comforting before we ever met you. When you called us into your office and my husband and I saw your warm, confident smile, I knew I had chosen the right doctor to help me. I explained how I suffer from a chronic pain condition, reflex sympathetic dystrophy (rsd), in addition to having a recent failed surgery for removal of my ovaries and endometriosis which left me in crippling pain 24 hours a day. Your initial visit was comprehensive, thorough and professional. After an ultrasound and confirming MRI, you informed me I would need surgery which was scheduled immediately. You told me you could help me and indeed you did! Throughout my visits, before and after the surgery, you continually reassured me that I would be okay and each time I saw you, I felt comforted by your smile, your warmth and your professionalism. The procedure was a long and difficult operation but I knew I was in good hands. When I awoke with my husband at my side, he told me he had seen you and the surgery was a success! After spending the night in the hospital, I went home the next day with minimal scarring thanks to your excellent surgical skills.

Before my follow-up visit, you continued to show how much you care for your patients by calling me at home several times to check on me, an extra effort that was very much appreciated. I am recovering from the surgery very well and the horrible pain in my abdomen is nearly gone. I feel much better every day due to your expertise in dealing with and removing endometriosis. In closing, I want to thank you for ridding me of this terrible endometriosis and helping me to lead a more normal life. I also want to thank your staff for comforting me and putting up with my sometimes endless questions and concerns. My husband and I will always remember and always be grateful for the help you have given us.

Very Truly Yours,
Renee G.

Prior to meeting Dr. Seckin and reading his book, “The Doctor Will See You Now”, I knew little to nothing about endometriosis. I was led to believe that endometriosis was not a serious condition. I was told that the pain could be managed by taking the “pill”. I was told that the cysts on my ovaries were harmless. I was…

Fast forward 5 years to find out incidentally I had a failing kidney. My left kidney was only functioning at 18%. During this time, I was preparing all my documents to send to Dr. Seckin to review. However, with this new information I put everything on hold and went to a urologist. After a few months, no one could figure…

I had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Seckin and his team before, during and after my surgery. I came to Dr. Seckin having already had laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis 5 years prior, with a different surgeon. My symptoms and pain had returned, making my life truly challenging and my menstrual cycle unbearable. Dr. Seckin was quick to validate my…

I came to Dr. Seckin after years of dealing with endometriosis and doctors who didn't fully understand the disease. He quickly ascertained what needed to be done, laid out the options along with his recommendation and gave me the time to make the right decision for me. My surgery went without a hitch and I'm healing very well. He and…
