Dr. Tamer Seckin on Surgical Management of Endometriosis Involving the Urinary System with an Anterior Cul-de-sac Endometrioma

AAGL would like to thank Dr. Tamer Seckin for presenting an excellent surgical demonstration on SurgeryU HD on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 9am PT / 12noon ET

The audience had the opportunity to see removal of a transmural bladder mass, suturing techniques for bladder wall repair, and excision of endometriosis from the posterior cul-de-sac and pelvic sidewalls.

A series of novel surgical excision techniques were used by Dr.Seckin, e.g. retro-peritoneal hydro distention using methylene blue water contrast and single puncture ovarian suspension techniques.

I came to Dr. Seckin having already had laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis 5 years prior, with a different surgeon. My symptoms and pain had returned, making my life truly challenging and my menstrual cycle unbearable. Dr. Seckin was quick to validate my…

He quickly ascertained what needed to be done, laid out the options along with his recommendation and gave me the time to make the right decision for me. My surgery went without a hitch and I'm healing very well. He and…
