Moderate to severe abdominal pain and prospect of starting a family led me to search the web for an endometriosis specialist in NYC. My mother has the disease and given the strong hereditary link, I suspected I may also have endometriosis.

I’ve never Googled a doctor before; my medical experiences to date consisted of traditional referrals and check-ups, but the web description of Dr. Seckin’s experience, expertise and specialization prompted me to reach out to him. His office accommodated me the next day and my husband and I spent about an hour with him. Impressed by his genuine interest in my personal and medical background, I immediately felt comfortable in his office. An exam and MRI later, Dr. Seckin delivered a decisive and accurate diagnosis, while educating us on the disease and our options.

Over the course, of three consultations and examinations, my impression of Dr. Seckin broadened from his stellar web persona to a real-live doctor who cares about women and enhancing their quality of life. I felt that I had the best shot of managing and hopefully eradicating the disease by trusting him to perform surgery. Going into surgery, I felt confident that I had a doctor who performs at the pinnacle of his field, while holding a balanced passion and respect for the disease. He successfully removed endometriosis from all over my abdomen as well as a cyst.  Post surgery, I returned to work 4 days later with no complications and little pain.

I would strongly recommend Dr. Seckin to anyone with endometriosis symptoms seeking guidance on how to navigate from diagnosis treatment.

After years of excessively painful periods, a serious loss of quality of life, and a series of uninformed and uninterested doctors, Dr. Seckin and Dr. Goldstein turned my life around. I was told I woke up from my surgery almost a year ago with a smile on my face, and I haven't stopped since. Before I heard of Dr. Seckin,…

Dr. Seckin and his staff spared me from years and years of heavy periods and unbearable endometriosis pain. After having surgery with him (my first) I can now function like a regular human. No more eating NSAIDs like candy and calling out sick from work. Thank you, Dr. Seckin!

I have struggled with endometriosis and adenomyosis since first starting my period at 13. I was diagnosed at 21 and what followed was a series of unsuccessful surgeries and treatments. My case was very aggressive and involved my urinary tract system and my intestines. After exhausting all of my local doctors I was lucky enough to find Dr. Seckin. We…

Like so many women who have tirelessly sought a correct diagnosis and proper, thorough medical treatment for endometriosis, I found myself 26 years into this unwanted journey without clear answers or help from four previous gynecological doctors and two emergency laparoscopic surgeries. I desperately wanted to avoid the ER again; a CT scan for appendicitis also revealed a likely endometrioma…
