He has changed my life. I am eternally grateful.

Dr. Seckin is a miracle worker; he performed the myomectomy by making three tiny incisions in my abdomen, (one of them through my belly button) and removed my fibroids through the vagina.

I have never before reviewed a doctor’s office or practice, however I feel it is necessary to tell women everywhere about the exceptional service that I received at the hands of Dr. Seckin.

I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids five years ago, and although I knew I needed surgery, I had two main concerns, the first being, not compromising my uterus in any way that would make it difficult to have children in the future, and the second the recovery time associated with the surgery.

I am a high school principal and I do not have summers off contrary to popular beliefs. I did not have time or inclination to dedicate 4-6 weeks of recuperation time after this surgery. I needed to find a doctor who understood my concerns and my desire for children in the future.

I was referred by a friend to Dr. Seckin, who explained to me that he would use a bladeless/bloodless procedure that would preserve my uterus with minimal downtime. I was concerned about the cost associated with the surgery since he typically does not take insurance. However he worked with me to develop a plan I could afford.

Dr. Seckin is a miracle worker; he performed the myomectomy by making three tiny incisions in my abdomen, (one of them through my belly button) and removed my fibroids through the vagina. It has been 9 months since my surgery; I have virtually no scars, no heavy menstrual bleeding, and no scar tissue. He has changed my life. I am eternally grateful. I will never stop singing his praises.

Prior to meeting Dr. Seckin and reading his book, “The Doctor Will See You Now”, I knew little to nothing about endometriosis. I was led to believe that endometriosis was not a serious condition. I was told that the pain could be managed by taking the “pill”. I was told that the cysts on my ovaries were harmless. I was…

Fast forward 5 years to find out incidentally I had a failing kidney. My left kidney was only functioning at 18%. During this time, I was preparing all my documents to send to Dr. Seckin to review. However, with this new information I put everything on hold and went to a urologist. After a few months, no one could figure…

I had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Seckin and his team before, during and after my surgery. I came to Dr. Seckin having already had laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis 5 years prior, with a different surgeon. My symptoms and pain had returned, making my life truly challenging and my menstrual cycle unbearable. Dr. Seckin was quick to validate my…

He quickly ascertained what needed to be done, laid out the options along with his recommendation and gave me the time to make the right decision for me. My surgery went without a hitch and I'm healing very well. He and…
