The disease costs society a staggering excess of $70 billion annually. It affects women in the prime years of their lives, with the potential to derail careers, academic endeavors, fertility choices and every aspect of a life. Through your support, we will find a solution to help.
Our awareness campaigns have generated over 320 million media impressions through our public relations efforts to encourage women to seek appropriate treatment. Important personalities and media outlets supportive of our mission have included Susan Sarandon, Dr. Oz, Fareed Zakaria, Whoopi Goldberg, the Today Show, Nightline, Glamour Magazine, the New York Post and The Wall Street Journal. Other significant impact has been made in increasing awareness in government, hospitals, medical offices, and schools through activities including our original design and national dissemination of the country’s first “Do you have Endometriosis?” poster. This March, our third annual scientific symposium, “Advancing Science and Surgery for Endometriosis: Tapping the Roots for the Next Generation”, will highlight groundbreaking research on the disease.
Our Blossom Ball is March 15, 2012 at the New York Public Library, Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. This fundraising gala is held during Endometriosis Awareness Month to support the Foundation’s initiatives. Please click here for all ticket and table options.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the Blossom Ball.
