Teacher of the Year award from Lenox Hill Hospital

Thank you Lenox Hill Hospital OB/GYN Department for giving me the Teacher of the Year award. This award is not only reflective of my own work, but the extremely hard work of all my residents. And a huge congratulations to my residents Anna Barbi, Shay Erisson, Lora Liu, and Theresa Linsner, on graduating last week!

About Lennox Hill Hospital Maternity Care Unit

Lenox Hill Hospital is renowned for its exceptional obstetrical service. It has approximately 4,500 deliveries per year in the Florence Selwyn Klopfer Family-Centered Maternity Care Unit. The facility consists of 12 modern LDR’s (labor, delivery, and recovery rooms), three mother/baby units, a well-baby nursery, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Lenox Hill Hospital recognizes that each family, pregnancy, and birth is truly unique. Therefore all staff works with families in flexible and collaborative ways to create an individual experience. 

Maternity patients whose pregnancies require special attention also benefit from the 24/7 prenatal services available at the Center for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. This is a Center of Excellence for the hospital. It is also one of the most comprehensive centers of its kind in New York City.
